It's a very good hotel, with comfortable rooms and good service. Items that could be improved are the TV set and Internet acess at the room.

It would be unfair to say that this hotel is an excpetion in Brasilia, not only the capital of Brasil, but also the capital of bad and yet expensive hotels. Which is a shame, because it is an exotic and beatiful city, with and exotic archicteture (by Niemeyer).

if you are checking out hotels in Brasilia this hotel is one of the best. Not that the hotels are fantastic but this is a safe bet. All of the hotels are overpriced. For the amount you pay you could get a 4 or 5 start hotel in Europe/US. The Manhattan is one fo the oldest hotel but is being remodelled this year. I stayed there a few day. The rooms are big and as they are rooms/apartments there is a kitchen and and side room with sofa. The views of Brasilia are especially good because of its good location. The more expensive Kubicheck plaza across the road is I think owned by the same chain. These are both safe option but pricey and that is the main problem of all hotels in Brasilia. The breakfast at Manhattan is excellent and they have a restuarant but I didn't try it. The pool is small but fine. When I was there they were doing up the gym so I couldn't use it but it looked ok too. The hotel needs and is being updated. The recpetion don't speak any English so be prpared if you have a problem not to get what you want sorted out but they are polite and friendly like most Brazilian hotels. The list are the slowest I've ever ben in but this is due to their age. Not a bad place to stay and if you have a family but it is better for business. There is internet and cable TV in the rooms too and I didn't pay extra for the internet.

Room Tip: Try and get a room nearest the main avenue so you can have a view of Brasilia. If it is not you just...

The room was a little run down, elevators slow. Everything works as it should, not bad - not good, more average. The air-condition did not work optimally. The temperature was to high in the room even when I had the air-condition on full speed in both rooms.

The food at the hotels restaurant was good as most restaurants in Brazil. Would I stay again at this hotel, .. probably, but I would check if the air-condition was good on my next room.

The rooms are ok, like "suites" with microave and sink but the entire hotel has a weird smell specially at the shower
the free internet is a patient test but I didn't try the paid internet
Loud music on my window until 1 am, and loud construction work starting at 6am

This is a good hotel for the amount paid. It is not close to the center city (as all other hotels) and unfortunately at the time of my visit, there was a new hotel in construction in front of this one. Worked used to be until late night doing noise and with several lights disturbing. Restaurant used to offer buffet for breakfast with good variety and for dinner same history.
