This is a nice hotel. The rooms are all suites and they are nicely furnished and the AC works very well. However, when it comes to the bathroom there is hardly any water pressure! This is annoying when you are trying to get ready for a meeting. The water trickles and it is not even really hot like it would be expected at a 3 star hotel. The food was very good and the service was also good. The workout room is a joke. No weights, just 2 treadmills.

Hotels in Brasilia are old, ugly and expensive. Maybe my experience in the Tryp Brasil 21 is influenced by the fact that I´ve been given an upgrade to a Junior Suite, but I found this the best hotel I´ve been in this city. Room is big and clean, furniture is modern for Brasilia hotels standards. Breakfast is complete and varied. Ah, and they have a pillow menu. I didn´t have the chance to try the fitness, spa and pool.

Modern hotel with huge rooms, separate living/bedroom, two flat screen tvs, wi-fi and a great view. Nice and comfy bed, reasonable value, friendly staff... All in all great!

The staff have been really helpful. We had several problems with either noise coming from a nearby shop or internet not working or the payment not arrived or the bathroom's tap with a very small hot water's flow. But each time the staff has proven willing to help and to find a solution. We thank them very much because thanks to all of them, we have spent a wonderful week-end in Brasilia.
We have been in at least three different rooms and I have checked one or two others. They were all very spacious. The rooms on the lower floors reminded me of the hotels in the former east block or in China's secondary cities like Xian, Chengdu or Beidaihe.
The carpet seemed very old and, consequently, with a lot of stains.
The upper floor rooms seemed "cleaner" since the floor was made of wood or something that imitated it.
But, knowing that, if I get the same price, I will go again. The location is very convenient either for business or for leisure.
And, in the same block, there is a bar called “beer selection”. The owner, Ramon, sells the best beers of the world. And he is very nice, I recommend the place to relax after a day of meeting.

Erick

Room Tip: Take a upper floor

I´ve stayed in this hotel for New Year´s Eve. I had two disappointements: first, there´s no parking lot, one has to pay for a private garage located outside the hotel (but in the same complex building). There´s no valet parking either. Second, when I arrived they had a problem with the rooms card system. During the first day, everytime I needed to enter to my room I had to call an employee (there´s one responsible for every floor). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the center of the city: there are a mall, some restaurants and some sightseeings within walking distance. Food isn´t great: I asked for room service, food arrived promptly but was rather regular and expensive. Because of the holiday, the hotel´s restaurants were closed. Rooms are big and included electric kettle and minibar. Sauna is tiny but great. Small pool on the terrace with great view of the city.

The rooms and hallways and restaurants were incredibly dirty. Hotel staff while friendly were not quick nor properly trained to be professional and prepared for the standards of American business travel.

It's a 3 hotels pools, but Tryp is the best (and cheaper). The rooms are very big, clean, new, and very well placed. The complex has 3 restaurants and one bar. The breakfast is so-so. There is a (cold) pool and a sauna. There isn't a gim. The view is gorgeous and it's in the center os Brasilia city. There is a shopping center (Patio Brasil) very close and the best meat restaurant (Fogo de Chao Churrascaria) in front of the hotel. The parking is U$ 8 per day. There is a gas station, a snack house close too. At night, don't walk alone in the neibourhood, it doesn't look safe.
