Big green area in the center of Campo Grande, Brazil, the region where you find Pantanal. It's a beautiful capital, calm and peaceful, like a small city of the countryside.

This is an excellent green space in the city with excellent grounds and good museums. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town.

Enjoyed the park which is well located in the town of Campo Grande. Some great mammals can be spotted, but No food available for the visitors

The park ensures to reflect the opposite of what Mato Grosso originally consisted of: thick forest and indiginous tribes!

The park is an empty space with a few trees here and there and very much artificial ponds and places.

Saturday morning all musea are closed, and anyhow there are very few entrances to the park, to ensure the few rodents won't escape.

The indigenous nations park (!) has nothing to do with indigineous (maybe for the museum?) except for the fact that Mato Grosso do Sul rich inhabitants wants to eradict them.

In the state live 73.000 indigenas, poor and in the most appaling circumstances as the fazendeiros took all the land and don't want to give it back to them. The state supports them as they bring in great money with their agro industries.

So the original population has been stashed away (over the last 100 years!) in some reserves, along the high-roads or in the few last thick bushes (for as much as these are not yet cut)...

Indeed the park is the soul-less reflection of the state!!!
