Stayed here for one night after a Pantanal trip. The hotel is not expensive but clean, with friendly but non-English speaking staff. Could be better located though, either near the airport or Campo Grande's city center. If you want to go out for some food you will need to take a taxi.

We stayed here before and after our trip to the Pantanal. I originally booked this as the Novotel next door was full but I was very happy with both the service and the hotel and I have given it five stars due to the very good value for money. If going to Campo Grande again I would book this hotel without even looking at other options. The room is small but clean and the bed we had was probably the most comfortable on our tree weeks in Brazil. Reception staff spoke English and there is an onsite restaurant - this is really your only option for eating (except for the Novotel next door but from what we heard from other guests at our Pantanal lodge I would eat at the Ibis…) as the location is a little outside the city centre. A taxi from the airport was cR$45 and it takes c20-30min depending on traffic. There is a taxi stand between the two hotels and there are always plenty of taxis (it was when we left at 3.30 am as well). I would really recommend staying here before and after a Pantanal trip but a city centre location might be better if you are staying in Campo Grande for a few days.

If you don't have any other options to stay, it's fine. The rooms are just the same of all Ibis.
The good thing is that there are taxis just outside the hotel.

They offer clean and qualitative rooms.
Service is practised by very kind personnel.
There are permanently taxis available.
Snacks are available, but not so cheap.
Breakfast is served between 6.30 and 10,
and is modest but well served.

Horrible. I had booked my reservation 3 weeks in advance on Orbitz, due to foreign currency fluctuations they didn't allow me to prepay the room, however the room was guaranteed by Orbitz.

I even called the Hotel a week in advance prior to my arrival to ensure that my room would be ready when I arrived, I was flying from Dubai, so it was about a 20 hour trip in total.

When I arrived at the hotel (which is FAR from the airport) the not so kind gentleman behind the desk informed me that the hotel was oversold and I would have to stay at some dump downtown (I don't recall the name of the hotel) which he swore was comparable to the IBIS.... That's sort of like saying a Ford Pinto is comparable to a Ferrari. And I would have to PAY for the nights stay and my own transportation back downtown!!

Point being, avoid this hotel at all costs.... if this is the way they treat their guests they don't deserve to be in the business.

Favor, nao fique neste hotel!!
