A very nice-looking room at first glance (we had a "superior" room on the 16th floor): a huge bed, firm pillows, a reasonably well-stocked minibar... great views over the city and lots of light. However, there were a number of glitches: first and foremost the shower door did not close. It was clear to see that some kind of plastic clip which had once held the door closed had fallen off and not been replaced. Every time I washed my hair, which requires a reasonable amount of water, my husband had to hold the door closed for me. Another problem was that only 33 ml of shampoo and conditioner, respectively, was provided, for two people, for three days. This was completely inadequate: a four-star hotel should provide basic toiletries.
The other thing was that, even sixteen floors up, we could hear the traffic very clearly. We were so tired when we got back that we slept anyway, but other guests might like to consider earplugs.
A great advantage is that the coach for the airport (Confins) leaves directly from the hotel.More
