I was surprised to find such a pleasant restaurant in the middle of the Minas countryside. The decor is rustic but not scabby and you have the choice to sit out on a semi-open varanda which we did because it was a nice day. The food was great. There's a huge choice. We had the picanha with tutu de feijão and couve - all good and tonnes of it. It's not cheap but also not extortionate. Fun - I will certainly go back to try the costela no bafo. Watch out for the opening times. Not open Mon-Wed and only until 14.30 for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays. All day Saturday but only lunch on Sunday. Check before you go.
