We were extremely unhappy with our experience. When buying the tickets we were told by the man at the counter who spoke English that we could avoid a middle seat if we were the first couple in line. When we got into the waiting area we noticed we were going to just miss the next flight, making us first in line. We were excited. Right before we were to board, a woman behind us went back to the counter, the man came around and whispered something to the guy loading us, who in turn whispered something to his helpers. Low and behold when my husband tried to get into the front seat, they told him he couldn't for balance reasons. This was an obvious lie given the arrangement of people on the flight before us. I ended up taking a middle seat so he could have the window (it was his birthday present), and the two women behind us got the front and a window seat. Upon landing, when we complained, the guy at the counter pretended he couldn't speak English.
It is VERY difficult to see much from the middle back seat. You can't see forward and you can only sort of see around the people next to you. Having read other reviews I didn't think it would be so bad. Even had everything been above board, I wouldn't recommend paying so much if there is any chance you end up there. Had we gotten the bad seat fair and square I would have just been disappointed. Given how it happened, I am upset.
This was also the last place we used our credit card before it was fraudulently used to buy over $11,000 worth of goods in Brazil.
