Our family of four stayed here after spending the previous night at the Grand Crucero hotel on the Argentine side. We wished we had stayed a second night at the Grand Crucero and simply driven over to the Brazil side. We were "lucky" to be placed in the luxury tower (given how un-luxurious the rooms were in the luxury tower, we would have hated being in the regular tower). The rooms were small, the hotel seemed aged, one of the two elevators was out of commission, the internet was slow and difficult to connect to (required three trips to reception to get the assigned pass code to work), etc... Spend a few dollars more and get a nicer place or stay at the Grand Crucero in Puerto Iguazu and spend an extra 30 minutes getting to the Brazilian side of the falls from there.

I guess a typical Best Western hotel - modern, comfortable and good value. Breakfast selection was great though got very crowded. Good location with restaurant choices around. Tour desk in the foyer who will help organise car hire etc.

I booked this hotel based on its high trip advisor rating. I'm not sure why it's rated so highly. The hotel is depressing - dark, with dated carpets and in need of new paint. The rooms were not well cleaned - garbage left on the bathroom counter and long hairs on the floor. The TVs don't work well, and the image was not clear. The breakfast was average. The service was very inefficient - it took a long time to check in, and then they made a mistake when we were checking out and almost charged us double. There's a travel agency in the lobby to book trips to the falls - the service there was poor - unfriendly and not very helpful. There is a pool, but it's much too small for a hotel with this many guests. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a great location. The front desk staff was very helpful and the room was clean nicely appointed.

There is a great churrascaria right next door and the complimentary breakfast was positively lavish.

We booked a tour with Tam Viages and they didn't show up, but the travel agent in the Hotel lobby rustled up a last minute trip for us down to the Falls and some other sights. They saved the day for us.

Stayed here in late November 2011.
Good location, just two streets away from the bus terminal.
Staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was nice and clean.
However, on the evening of our first night, a multitude of insects starting appearing on the wall even though the window was shut (somehow, these insects still managed to get in). We quickly notified the frontdesk and when the staff arrived, we could tell that even he was shocked and was at a loss as to what to do. He finally left pale-faced after getting rid of most of the insects. The rest that later appeared, we took care of them on our own - thank goodness we brought insect repellant!
A tiny pool sits on the top floor which no one seemed to use when we were there.
There was a travel helpdesk on the ground floor from which my sister actually purchased a Waterfall boat ride for Puerto Iguazu, Argentina at a better price than was offered onsite.
They provided a pretty good buffet spread for breakfast.
For lunch or dinner, there are several local joints around the vicinity to choose from.
There is also a mega supermarket north of the bus terminal.

We stayed here for 2 nights in November as a group of friends.

The hotel itself is slightly outside the main centre which is probably about a 10 minute walk away.
Check in was very easy, the reception staff were always very polite and efficient!

The room I found was on the slightly cosy side, but there was ample storage and a large bathroom which was very clean, as was the main room; the bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water.

The only thing I didn't like was the integrated window blinds, which is basically a metal sheet that slides over the windows so that you can keep the window open at night if you wish; however, they didn't block out any noise at night.

I did find a tincy little cockroach in the room, which came from behind the built in shelving unit - this doesn't reflect badly on the housekeeping staff, as the room was very clean; it probably arrived in the room from a previous occupant.

The breakfast buffet, which was included in the room price, had a really good selection that you could choose from and was replenished regularly.

If I were to visit Foz do Iguazu, I would stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights in November 2013 . Very clean , comfortable with excellent buffet breakfast . 3 minutes walk from bus station where airport bus stops , also catch the same " very cheap" bus to the Brazilian side of the falls . Good restaurants very close , also large supermarket 5 minutes walk . Staff were very helpful & polite . I particularly remember Alberto & Natila . Would stay here again without hesitation.
