Good hotel in a great location for visiting the Iguacu falls. The hotel is only a few Km's from the falls. The hotel provides transportation to the falls for a low cost which includes pick up. They give you a toll free number to call from a phone at the falls once you are finished and come back to pick you up when you are ready. It is only about a 3 minute drive to the falls. There is also a bird sanctuary near the falls that is quite neat as well, they also can pick you up there if you would prefer. They also provide transportation to/from the airport if arranged which is also only about a 5 minute drive from the hotel. Don't bother staying at a hotel in town, it is far from the falls and there is nothing to do in town. We took the bus into town one day, arrived around 6pm and everything was closed. There is not much to do there. I would recommend this hotel not only because of it's location and transportation but because of the nice pool area and the restaurants. There is not need to leave the hotel other than to visit the falls. The rooms were ok, nothing fancy but clean and a good place to sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Lobby and the breakfast was very nicely appointed. The food (breakfast) was OK+ The rooms were a bit rough. Service was good. We were down the hall on the main floor behind the dining room. The room was older, a bit musty and not remodeled in a while. Reminded me of rooms in older "once nice" hotels in Mexico that that not been kept up. OK for me but would have expected more for the price. Three pools OK+ with food/bar service. Pingpong too! Easy bus ride from the falls to the hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed down the hall from the dining area - ground floor. Maybe the rooms in other parts of the...

If you get to travel Iguazu Falls and the park birds -
it's the perfect location for you!!!

There's a bus at a cost of 2 Real -
who travels to Iguazu Falls Brazil side and park birds, for a minute drive.

There are organized tours including transportation Iguazu Falls Argentina side,
They take care of everything so no need to play Argentine money - highly recommended and convenient.

There are shuttle from airport to hotel and back,
It is necessary to send an email with flight details to hotel, 5 minutes away.

Excellent breakfast with plenty of tasty food.
Location is not nearly city center
And is therefore recommended to have dinner at a cost of 20 Real man, a great selection and delicious.
The cost of a taxi to the center is 40 rials and therefore should not go.

Lobby high-level English speakers, very good service.
Wireless internet is free, but at a cost desktop computer.

We were two nights, we paid 160 rials per night.

This hotel has a genuine atmosphere - you can feel you are close to the nature yet you still have a very high comfort. The location is perfect - 20mins walk to the airport (I walked there at night to get some cash from an ATM, it was that safe (that is not usual for Brazil)) and just a few miles from the Brazilian Falls Park.

Stayed for 1 night here at the end of November for the sole reason to see the falls. Arrived early the first day and were met at the airport, checked in, got some great advice from the information desk and set off for the argentinian side.
Unfortunately we chose a bus that only ran once an hour, so it took us a while to get through the border checks. In hindsight we would have paid for the extra bus to get across, but were trying to budget!
evening meal was very nice, although the staff were quite relaxed, but the food was very nice.
Went to the Brazilian side the following day, and the hotel couldn't have been better to us. They allowed us a free late checkout, and didn't say anything when we were even later than planned.
All in all a great place to stay and see the amazing Iguassu falls!

Having spent the previous few weeks on the North Eastern Coast of Brazil where the food, the weather and the hospitality is second to none and where we were genuinely made to feel welcome, we spent the last few days of our holiday visiting the falls and stayed at the Harbor Colonial and to be honest we wished we hadn't bothered.
The hotel is close to the falls, don't waste the R$30 per person on the hotel bus to the Brazilian side of the falls, it's only a 1km walk and taxi's will start off charging R$20 before even haggling.
The staff gave the impression that they couldn't be bothered, and in fact heaven forbid that you ask for anything that is not on the menu. This hotel really is trying too hard to be something that it is not. We stayed in Pousada's until reaching Foz and the Pousada's were cheaper, equally clean and equally comfortable (if not better), all provided far better and far fresher breakfasts than the hotel and all had far friendlier staff than this hotel.
The rooms are incredibly noisey - you're able to hear what the guests in the next room and the corridors are up to!
Would I recommend this hotel to anyone, absoluetly not, it is overpriced for the service on offer and the food is not fresh.
Whilst the hotel tourist desk is helpful, tourists are treated like cash machines and it is extremely blatant.
My overall rating for this hotel is poor. Had it been further from the falls, it would have been lower.

The location is great, just 3 min from the airport and walking distance to the entry of the water falls. Helpful staff at reception, room was dated but clean, comfortable bed and good bath room. Cafeteria serves nice food at a good price and the buffet at night was surprisingly good. Lots of choice for only 28 Reais. The serving staff looked quite unhappy and did not smile. If they update the place to the standards of the 21st century it can become a real good hotel. All in all a good place and close by the falls. Breakfast was decent as well.
