Golden Park Internacional Foz
Ranked #31 of 79 Hotels in Foz do Iguacu

Foz do Iguacu is a small town with not much to do. Of course the main attraction is the Iguassu Falls for which everyone visits. This hotel is the next best option to the orient express hotel located in the national park. the hotel is well located and the staff is very helpful is organizing taxis, tours etc.

Sure is not appealing to stay in Cd del Este, and pretty lame to stay in Puerto Iguazú, unless you have the $$$$ for the resorts by the falls. Golden Tulip is a $100 usd good value with good breakfast buffet, good espresso at hotel bar and some good lebanese restaurants nearby, especially the excellent Castelo Libanês. The hotel itself has good size rooms with good views, large flat screen TV and large bed. Sure it's a bit dated but clean and convenient, with friendly staff.

I had a good rest here, the room was interesting and it had a good view of the city, and enough space to feel comfortable.
The only thing that didn't work so well was the wifi internet, every time my iPhone went in sleep mode and opened again i had to re-enter the login data... kinda annoying.
But overall, I would go there again.

We never stayed at this hotel, but ate at its restaurant. It was like stepping into a Hollywood movie from the 1940s-just glamorous! There was a pianist who played while we ate, & was kind enough to accept requests. The service & food were flawless & puts Sydney's top restaurants to shame.
The view of the city was also fabulous. Thank you to everyone who made our dining experience breathtaking!!!

Stayed here post cruise Feb' 2012. Not a bad location for visiting both sides of the Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival and checking in we were allocated a room, only to find that it had not been cleaned following earlier guests checking out. Had to go back to reception and were given another room. This proved OK although we thought the corridors smelt as though somebody had been very ill. Breakfast on the second day, arrived at 7.15 a.m. to find all the hot food trays empty. We complained 3 times to the staff but when we left to go on our day trip at 7.55 a.m. the trays were still empty. On day 3, although the trays weren't empty, there was very little food left and it took over 30 minutes to be replenished. Not the type of service you expect from an International hotel. Communication with the restaurant staff was difficult so breakfast time proved to be very frustrating. For a place that has so many tourists we found it surprising that the staff didn't have a few more words of English considering the numbers of American and European that must stay there. Overall a very disappointing hotel and not one that I would use again if I returned. A couple of blocks away we found a Lebanese restaurant, the Oriente Latino, run by a very nice lady who spoke good English and made every effort to make us welcome in her restaurant. The food was served hot and fresh and both the chicken and beef dishes were simple but delicious.

I quite like this hotel. Main entrance is nice, you get good view from any room, as the building is rounded. Room is large (average American size), but the bathroom is not that nice. Probably from mid 80s without refurbishment.
The hotel has a great swiming pool and gym. Breakfast is very good. Also had a dinner in the restaurant at the top of building, wonderful view and good food.
Location: in downtown of Foz do Iguazu, not in the road to Iguazu Falls like almost all else.
Tip: for lunch or dinner, go to Restaurant Chef Lopes, 3 blocks down n the street.
Cost/benefit: ok. For the money they could offer newer rooms.
I would stay there again.

Good location in the heart of Foz do Iguacu. Staff in the other hand extremely unhelpful and rude. Far from being a good value for money.
