We were looking for a place to take a weekend motorcycle ride and found Old Mill cabins online. We called to see if there was an availible cabin for the weekend and were told the one we wanted was booked but we could have a larger one for the same price. The cabin was ideal and spotless. I don't think you could find a quieter or more perfect mountain getaway anywhere. We will for certain stay there again and again. The area of the Star Valley is second to none in scenery and sightseeing opportunities> we highly recommend if you are in that area to give them a call

We took the advice of other reviews. Beautiful surroundings!! The cabin was clean and cozy. The owners are very helpful. They even saddled up the horse for my wife to ride. No charge. I would like to have coffee pots and coffee in room. You have to go to town for everything. Heggs is a good place to eat in the outskirts of town. Had dinner there, came back for breakfast.

I re-read the reviews, and I would agree that there is not a lot of interaction with the owners, but that was not a problem as we were just looking for a place to stay where we could leave early. We stayed at the Aspen cabin, which was SPOTLESS. A nice warm shower, comfortable beds, satellite TV and cool mountain air made this the perfect stop between Grand Tetons and Bryce Canyon. I would stay here again easily.

This was just as everyone previously stated. We booked our stay based on the previous reviews. We stayed in the Cottonwood. It has a nice loft which our kids love. The TV is small but not a problem for us personally. This is a cabin, no kitchen so don't expect to be cooking on a stove anywhere. It was very comfortable and quiet. We are staying again this year. We had no problems at all. Check in and out were very easy.

We arrived at The Old Mill Log Cabins after many, many days on the road. We really needed a place to relax for the night with peace and quiet and nothing to do. Our cabin was just what we needed.
It is in a peaceful location. Down a dirt road, over the wooden bridge and into Heaven. The cabin was beautifully decorated, more than comfortable. A little creek running by. The cabin has a porch and a little grassy area where you could sit and enjoy the creek and the beautiful setting. The porch only had one chair and a bench, neither was very comfortable. We found ourselves wishing we had our own lawn chairs so that we could sit out in the grass, have a glass of wine, and relax by the creek. Everything was clean and tidy, the bathroom was lovely and had a nice bath tub for a soak. We had a nice nights rest in comfy beds and woke up to the sound of the creek. Our hostess was cheery and welcoming.

We were on our way home from a Yellowstone vacation and stayed here overnight. It was beautiful and peaceful. Our kids loved it ! Especially the hot tub ! We couldn't believe how luxurious it was. We came home and told all of our friends and family about this place. We are even planning on sending my husbands parents there for an anniversary present. Perfect in every way. The owners were very helpful and left a snack plus little juices for each of us. There were bath and body samples to use for shampoo and soap. Clean towels, comfortable beds, air conditioning. satellite t.v., even deer outside our cabin. Who could ask for more? If you stay here you won't regret it !

We stayed two nights. The Lodgepole cabin and the scenery is beautiful. However, there are no services to mention. The website is a bit deceiving as it shows a picture with "Old Mill Cabins Motel". There is no motel, just a family home with the cabins off to the side. Once we checked in and paid for our cabin we didn't see the owners again. I didn't mind that they don't make up the room daily or change towels as much as they don't even provide coffee in the mornings. They do not allow any cooking in the room so you can't even heat water to make a cup of tea yourself in the cool evenings. When I asked if there was coffee available, I was told that town is "just minutes away." I would have enjoyed waking up on these crisp mornings and sitting on the porch with a hot cup of coffee. When I tried to contact the owners for travel advice, they weren't home. You're on your own here with no resources until you drive into the tiny town a few miles down the road.
