We stayed here for 3 very enjoyable nights. We were greeted by a glass of champagne and given a welcome massage which was very relaxing. The hotel is very stylish, calm and relaxed and our sea view room was extremely comfortable. The location is a short stroll from the centre of the town.

The breakfast has a great variety of food and you can even have champagne! We ate in the restaurant which was very good but a little pricey. There are plenty of good places to eat in Buzios so make sure to check out places to eat outside the hotel. We also had lunch in the Deck restaurant which is owned by the hotel and it was very tasty.

The staff were all very friendly and I loved the relaxed attitude, it made everyone relax even more. The room was cleaned twice daily (if you want) and they hung umbrellas outside our door when it rained.

There is a nice jacuzzi in the Spa and the staff there and the massage was to a very high standard. And the free yoga lesson on Tuesday morning was a perfect way to start the day.

I would highly recommend staying in Casas Brancas and we look forward to staying there again some day.

Room Tip: I would highly recommend a sea view room (number 11). We had a veranda which was perfect for relaxin...

If you find the huge and animated beaches of Rio de Janeiro a little overwhelming then hop on a bus or rent a car and drive the 100 miles to the beautiful beach town of Búzios. This is the Hamptons of the Rio jet-set, and aside from the numerous beaches – each varying in size, colour, ambience and style – this small resort town has many stunning hotels and a buzzing nightlife. This pretty part of Brazil was famous in the 60s for Brigitte Bardot’s temporary stay and much of the town is named after the iconic actress and Búzios definitely has that French Riviera chic vibe – it is effortlessly cool and most definitely stylish. This rings true for the hotels, and most of the accomodations in Búzios are polished and elegant boutique hotels with classic, yet homely finishes. We stayed at the über-chic Casas Brancas Hotel just steps from the main town. The ocean views from all parts of the hotel are stunning but the beach is not the best here, however they have a beach club located in a beautiful bay nearby with full butler service should you need champagne or freshly-caught fish for lunch! The breakfast at Casas Brancas is served in a terrace restaurant that is surrounded by the beautiful blue of the sea, the service is second-to-none and champagne is also served at breakfast to get your day off to a good start!

Went back after many years and even better than then !
Before I forget don't miss the Spa !!! they have all the ways of treating you softly !
I would recommend you have dinner in any of their restaurants, more, I recommend trying them all!
Atlantico, the main one, Deck on the street, Mistico next door and Rocka on the Brava beach for lunch, chairs and umbrellas. Julietta at the Atlantico can make all the reservations, she is great and very helpful !
Spend the money on a medium priced room at the least, with wonderful views the bay of Armazao
At the front desk you may find and question anything you like, they will always be very helpfull.

Room Tip: Always pick a sea view room, if you can, spend the extra money for a special room, it's worth it...

After a hectic week in Buenos Aires, my wife and I stayed for a few days at Casa Brancas. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate in the hotel a couple of times at the Cafe Atlantico, where the food was good and the views over the bay fantastic.
Buzios was quite quiet as it was the end of the season, but would recommend it to anyone, for a few days by the sea.

We stayed several days at Casas Brancas and wish we could have stayed for weeks. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, views of the bay incredible (especially during the sunset). Location quiet but close to the town. Food great. Everyone, especially the concierge Sebastian, went out of their way to make sure we got reservations at unique restaurants that fit our preferences/objectives for the night, car rentals, beach recommendations, etc. They all seemed to enjoy just making our stay memorable. I hesitate to recommend it so highly since I'd to keep this unique place a secret. You can't go wrong with this choice...

Year 13 and by no means bad luck!! Often I have felt like trying a new hotel after staying somewhere as something, somewhere has not been quite right. But that's not the case with CB as I've come to call it. This is my favourite hotel in the whole world. I've said before it's no Hyatt or Sheraton and there have been a few niggles which I've kept to myself but what is so amazing is that these niggles seem to get resolved without any prompting by which i mean that the management is constantly upgrading the place to keep up with a demanding public. The restaurant Cafe Atlantico continues to serve excellent food and wine and now has live, yet discrete, music at night. The staff everywhere are attentive, friendly and efficient.
We saw a couple of new rooms but stayed in our favourite one with a small terrace overlooking the pool and the beautiful bay beyond. Mr. Fix It (Sebastian) was still there fielding any questions the guests might have. As I've said in a previous review, I do stay at many hotels throughout the year but none beat the experience at CB. And I appreciate that being a regular visitor may help, but it's good to read reviews by first time visitors which are so positive too. And it's not just CB that has moved with the times. Its sister establishments of Abracadabra Hotel and Mistico Restaurant, El Deck Restaurant and Rocka have all made major improvements. I think these people know what they're doing!
