Juanito is so personable that he himself is the waiter. As we stood outside of the restaurante looking at the menu, he greeted us and explained how the "fish of the day" was prepared. My wife and I both cook and could tell that this man knew his fish! His description of the dish convinced us and we were NOT disappointed. The food was fantastic! Mine was prepared with a special recipe he had learned from the Amazon complete with a fried banana. My wife's fish was done with a sauce similar to that of "steak au poivre" but done with "pimenta rosa" which give a light, delicate almost fragrant touch to the cream sauce without being pungent. It was great. And with him as your waiter, you get a free "history lesson" on the past 20 - 25 years of Buzios! --- JOHN
