A very hard working (and a little bit hard to find!) restaurant that's worth the trouble.
We ordered three very different dishes -- each one excellent (even the spaghetti bolognese which the kids ordered and that was so delicious the adults fought to clean the plate!) Clearly a labor of love and pride.

We had a really good steak dish for two people with Gorgonzola sauce. The texture of the steak was a bit different but it was still good.  It was heavy but different to anything else we'd had recently and tasted great.

Service was friendly and attentive.

I had a really good fresh lemonade here too.

We ate here 3 nights in a row. I like a restaurant with a small menu because you know the chef can cope with this. There are about 6 starters, 6 fish courses, 6 meat and a few others. All the food was simple and delicious. Big portions. Great steak and fish. Good friendly service.

We arrived at a very packed restaurant & were shortly, after arrival, seated at one of The outside tables. Service was very pleasant, efficient, welcoming & friendly.
We ordered far way to much but still we managed it All :-) shrimps, mussels with garlic to start with, followed by a wonderful octopus dish.
Seriously one if then best meals I had for quite some time: delicious & honest! Highly recommendable!!

I and my 2 friends imply loved the place because:

1. The food was really good - it was super fresh and delicious. We wanted sth a bit exotic and local, so we ate fish in passion fruit / maracuja sauce.
And the portions are big - for 3 persons we had 1 starter and 1 main dish (it was meant for 2 persons) and we could not finish the meal.

2. The staff was very friendly, professional (they could answer all the questions about ingredients in EN etc.) and quick - we arrived rather late (~ 21:00) and there was no delays with our drinks or food.

3. The atmosphere was simple and cozy. It's indeed not by the water, but that's way it is also less touristic. And a couple of locals suggested this place for a dinner, so that's a good sign.

All in all - great value for money. We truly suggest!
