Marvelous. Gorgeous. Amazing. Wonderful. Lopes Mendes beach is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen in my life! The 30 minute (aggressive) hike leads you directly to utopia! The white sand, the clear waters, and the cleanliness of the entire area makes this beach more than an epitome of beauty. This site is actively engaged in sustainable/Eco-friendly tourism. Lopes Mendes beach and paradise have the same definition.

This beach was beyond beautiful! It was heaven on earth and a hell of a travel to heaven! The hike was so worth the clear water and clean sand! It was so hard to leave it, like the rest of Brazil.

Such an adventure even to get here. We took the easy option and got the boat, then had a 20-30 minute hike to the beach, where we saw monkeys, butterflies and birds. On arriving in Lopes Mendes it takes your breath away, such an expanse of white sand, and we were lucky enough not to be joined by too many others (maybe 100 on 3km of beach in Brazil, that's practically the beach to ourselves). With no food outlets and no boat access direct to the beach, it remains an idyllic spot, even though it is so popular!

Fabulous, but very crowded and no shade from the sun. A hot walk to get there through the jungle. No facilities !

This beach is accessible by hike through the forest, which made our time here even better. The sand is white, the water crystal blue, with both surfers and more casual swimmers. Trees on the edge of the beach allow for a lot of shade to rest in, and the beach was actually not crowded at all. A few vendors on the beach have a variety of snacks and drinks for purchase. Easily the best beach I've ever been to.
