It's a great little hotel that does its job.
Food was great here and the location was virtually on the beach. There's a nearby ferry port 2 minutes if that from the hotel that gets you to Rio quickly.
The beach bars are great and the food/drink are cheap enough.
The view isn't the greatest if your not facing the sea mind, the roof has a pool though which is good and is where I spent a bit of my time.
Rooms basic mind no luxury's

Room tip: Sea facing

Hotel is quite small and all is according with price.
Worse is fully absence of any kind of rumors isolation: you can hear the air-conditioning from the front building as from side rooms as from corridor...
Food not bad but not a lot of variations.
Easy to reach the hydrofoils connecting to Rio, just on the other side of the bay.

Not a high end property by any stretch but showers and beds worked and restaurant was consistent. Being south of the city center of Niteroi actually worked well. Cab fares were quite low to get about as needed when walking was suspect.. Did some walking to restaurants about a 1/2 mile north of the hotel at night but we went in a large group. Waterfront area did not seem threatening and many families and groups out in the evenings.
Pool is tiny and on roof. Fine to cool off but not for hours of recreation. Gym is on roof as well and largely useless as equipment was broken and afternoon sun made glass enclosed area a sauna.

A small , well run hotel , nothing spectacular , but comfortable and clean. Work has started on a building next door which means it can be quite noisy during the day if you have a room on the wrong side . The restaurant menu has quite a bit of choice , but if you want a drink then you'll have to cross the road to one of the places on the promenade , a great place to sit and watch the sun go down .

I went to a friends' marriage in Niteroi and I have booked this hotel. I spent just one night. It's nothing special, but it in front of the Bay of Guanabara and you can walk along the beach. It was quite expensive related to the accommodations.

Room tip: Go to the top end of the hotel. Have a small pool and a beautiful view.
