This is absolutely one of the best choices for lunch in Petrópolis, the "Imperial City" on the mountains near Rio de Janeiro. Olivinho offers a mix of portuguese cousine and traditional brazilian dishes, as well as some more "worldly" dishes. Try out their "Bacalhau à Gomes de Sá", a traditional portuguese codfish recipe, and the "Empada de Camarão com Catupiry", a traditional portuguese pastry appetizer. Their "Cozido" is outstanding, and so is their "Feijoada" (traditionally served on saturdays). My personal favorite is the "Frango ao Curry com Champagne", a very delicate chicken breast swimming on an intriguing curry and champagne sauce, served with white rice with raisins. My favorite restaurant in Petrópolis.
