Cais is a newcomer at Rio's restaurant scene. It has been recently opened at the same premises of former "Cais do Oriente", but is a completely new restaurant, with new décor and also a new proposal. Its Chef, Eduardo Castro, brings experience, international awards and exquisite flavors to Rio's cultural district. The building itself, dating from 1878, when was used as a commercial warehouse for spices imported from the Orient, has been carefully restored and deserves a visit. Ideal for lunch while in downtown or visiting the various cultural centers just at short walking distances. Reservations are highly recommended, specially for groups. Enjoy!
