My husband, teenage daughter and I all enjoyed this class. Chef Simone is a wonderful storyteller, teacher and chef.
She had all 7 of us all help with different steps in cooking an appetizer of grilled halami cheese with guava jam, manioc with banana coins,seafood moqueca, and caipirinhas.We gained insight into the cultural history of Brazil.
The restaurant has a room a few steps up devoted to the cooking class. It was easy to find in the Centro district, a 25 minute cab ride from the Copacabana beach.
This was a nice highlight of our stay in Rio.
