The hotel is too far from anywhere, nothing worked and they didn't clean the room daily, horrible customer service and it's no where near finished with construction when I was there the power went out, no back up generator, the hallways are not a ir a conditioned the telephone did not work for over a week and the internet was out for two weeks the dinning room was a mess and the service was horrible when I asked if I could get a refund and check out they said no and the only thing they could do was give me a 10% off my services for my troubles. I will never go back

Assigned room with air conditioning not cooling, staff knew it, internet did not work most of the times and when it did it was slow, mosquitos everywhere, no adapters to charge laptop, phone etc, when requested one hotel wanted to charge US$5. The worst was the attitude of supervisor Marco when I complained about things that were wrong and his staff attitude when they signed willingly out of service rooms. f

The air conditioner didn't work, it as full of mosquito, the internet fell down all the time, the service in the restaurant was terrible. I would'nt recommend anybody to stay here. When I arrived they didnt help me with muy bags. Horrible!

The hotel itself was relatively clean and the front desk staff were pretty helpful. The restaurant serves some pretty bland food on their buffets, but there was quite a variety to choose from. Dopnt drinik the house wine, though. Yuck! We did not order off the restaruant menu except for the wine. We just ate the buffets for breakfast each day and one dinner. The location is not terribly far from the Barra area (about $14 US for a taxi one way), and will be pretty close to the Olympics, but there's nothing near that you can walk to in order to get other food or stores, etc. The pool is small, but nice with an outside bar next to it, and the workout room is small but adequate. There is quite a bit of traffice noise, but it didn't seem to keep us awake. The maid service is a little bit lacking as are the waiters in the restaurant, but my understanding is that is the way things are done in Brazil. Neither were very quick with service and did a so-so job. The rooms are good sized. The king bed was very comfortable.

Fair hotel terrible location. Service at desk was fair at best. When I arrived at hotel they apparently never received my paid reservation from expedia. They made no effort to get the information from expedia until I yelled at them. I had to text someone in the us to call expedia who took care of it quickly. I got the distinct impression the staff lies frequently and will not accept fault for anything. The hotel was very far from the beach and the Samba parade. The hotel arranged samba tickets that I believe were very overpriced and arranged an expensive transfer that didn't know how to get to the Samba parade - took over 2 1/2 hours driving. Every taxi ride cost at least $75 due to the isolated location. The rooms very clean and the price reasonable for Carnaval but I would never stay here again.

This is a new hotel and some facilities / services (restaurant, etc) were being done in temporary rooms. The hotel is clean and seemed safe. The location is not very good and it is not walking distance from anything (and there are no side walks, etc.), so you will need a car or taxi to get anywhere (even to Riocentro, etc). The beach is about 20 - 25 minutes away. The staff still needs some training. I would not stay in this hotel again and would not recommend it to my colleagues (unless they are going to Rock in Rio or Olympic Village).

I've stayed in this hotel for 2 nights attending a conference in the nearby conference venue. The hotel is relatively far away from downtown rio, but close to an area with a lot of development activity (olympic park).

Local taxi drivers have difficulty in finding the hotel; but once you get close to the location there are traffic signs leading you to the building.

The hotel itself looks like an appartment complex that was converted last minute into a hotel. I've arrived early in the morning, check-in took about 15 minutes (altough there was no other customer present) and was ok. For some reason they told me that they don't accept Ramada/Wyndham Rewards numbers in their hotel.

I then made my way up to the room through a dark and not very appealing looking corridor into my room - just to find out when I entered the room that it was occupied by another guest (a rather scary experience for this poor guy). Back to reception to get another room, they then went up to check some rooms if there is one available and ready.

After another 25 minutes, they actually found a room for me. The room itself is pretty basic with a noisy airconditioning - every room apparently has its own split aircon device instead of central airconditioning. The bathroom is very small and basic and was unfortunatly not very clean and full of small insects. The bathroom also lacks some very basic amenities such as tissues. The best part of the room is the bed which is comfortable and clean.

After 1 day my room keys stopped working - I had to go back to the reception 3 times until they managed to get me a new key that was actually working - no excuses from their side at all.

The breakfast room is terrible, small, fold-away tables, over-crowded without any sense of true hospitality. The hotel restaurant offers so-so food with a completely useless service team.

All-in-all the worst Ramada I've ever stayed. Bad infrastructure combined with terrible service and complete absence of any customer focus. I will not return...
