Great position a couple of hundred yards from the Copacabana beach. Rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfast was good. Our main criticism is the hot water taps make such a noise all over the hotel Our one actually vibrated so much we could not use it, but other people did. Therefore I was woken many times in the 4 nights we stayed here even though we changed rooms. Staff were very helpful. They need to solve this problem then I would definitely return.

This hotel is very well located in the Copacabana neighborhood. Easy walk to beach. Juice stand just across the street. A wonderful little wine cafe on the way to the beach. Grocery store and bars very near by. Metro stop one block away. Fantastic fresh fruit and bread selection at breakfast.

The staff was friendly, the rooftop pool isn't huge but it's lovely.

We had an unpleasant stay. The Hotel is quite old and clairaudient. You hear every little noise on the entire floor! Small rooms in style of a hostel. Not worth 4 stars. You will be woken up if anyone uses water in neighboring rooms since the pipes are not air-sealed. Location is good but I will not visit the hotel again!

Our room had a hot tub and sauna. The hot tub was a bath with jets, not very good. Sauna was very very good for a hotel room! Roof top pool was disappointingly small. Can't really recommend the food in the restaurant, tried the buffet and a la carte and neither were particularly appealing. Breakfast however was more than adequate. Parking is valet only and not cheap.

The hotel has good location closely to Copacabana beach. Staff is friendly. The associates on reception speak english. Rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast is good - there is a big variety of different foods (food quality is fine). There is free Wifi in the hotel (no access on the pool). Dollars can be changed for brazilian reals at the reception but the rate is terrible (2.15 reals for dollar, 2.30-2.35 is normal rate). Few services like carnaval visits, football game visits etc can be organized by the hotel but the price is big.

Story of two halves this hotel.

The room was great - loads of room and clean. The pool area is fairly small for sun bathing but nice views and pool is big enough. Not a bad location either - easy to walk to the beach and to many places to eat and drink.

Avoid the breakfast though - not only was it dirty and unclean, the food albeit plenty on offer, didnt taste fresh or look very appetizing.

It is a pleasant hotel in a good location.Service was good, there is one point to mention : that they have no food solution for early morning leavers. The room was quite and clean and reception was very efficient.
