Description: Macoco is a handmade cuisine restaurant that values fresh and regional products, combining flavors and textures in dishes that surprise the taste! In Pipa since 2012, it is located in the charming Rua do Céu, in a pleasant, airy and unique space. The kitchen is in charge of the Argentinian Chef José Lucas Sabadini and the lounge is in the hands of Michaela Bitarello, the restaurant owners. The restaurant team also do catering for meetings and parties, offering different types of finger food and items specially designed for each ocasion!

I would call it haute cousine, with interesting ingredients and combinations as well as beatiful presentation, cheap price and enchanting decoration. Simply lovely place and superb food. JUST LOVED IT.

Macoco is a small and nice restaurant in a narrow street in the centre of Pipa.
We went there by chance and were attracted by its look: colourful walls, nice little tables, a counter with fresh pasta, a fridge with cakes and other home made preparations (sauces, pickles, etc)... then we looked at the menu and decided to have dinner here. The dishes proposed are different than the usual ones you can find in Pipa, and there is a creative touch both in the presentation of them and in the ingredients used. Soups are amazing, as well as empanadas (the chef is Argentinean) and there is even a vegan option, if you are interested in!
The atmosphere is joyful, the food is tasty and Michaela even speaks English, pretty uncommon here!
They also sell their home made products, in case you have a kitchen were you are staying.
As many other restaurants in the area, they don't accept credit cards.
