An interesting set, but an script that is so absolutly irreal that not even babies would take it seriously! The description of the play/musical tells you a story that is never performed and one waits for the play to get there when it suddenly ends. The music is monochordic and repeatitive and some of the characters really go out of their way to make the public laugh, what they sometimes reach through a very shallow form of primitive and small circus like clowness. I felt like I was attending a high school end of the year presentation or watching one of these "do good" evangelical TV programs. Too much ballet and athletic performances to too little real story. However, I have to recognize that the group is making an effort to keep a show going on in a small town that is know for its lack of culture. The price of the fare sounds to me totally out of order: R$90 (US$45) per person (they are promising to lower it) for what the spectacle is all about. For this amount or even less one can get a ticket for a Broadway show at the TICKETS-TICKECTS boot in NYC.
