When you are in Florianopolis go to visit this small place named Santo Antonio de Lisboa. You can find a portuguese restaurant right in from of the ocean, the food is delicious and visit the stores around the area

Nice little town to visit for an afternoon, few artwork stores and very good restaurants, although quite expensive.

Santo Antonio de Lisboa is a small little town, very charming, full of equally charming and small restaurants. It has a beach not so far from Florianopolis centre (some 15 km). It has a Portuguese flavour in everything: shops, bars, supermarket and of course restaurants.

The neighbourhood seems to have stuck in the Brazilian colonial years and keeps nice old houses in style from Azores, well renovated. The area is all well preserved, including the colonial church "Nossa Senhora das Necessidades", which is still used for catholic cults.

This was my second visited. My husband and I had dinner in a nice restaurant called "Coisas de Maria Joao". The name could not be more Portuguese, reflecting the Portuguese inheritance in the area.

It is worth a visit.

Several good places to eat in this small azorian town on the beach. Not much of a beach, though. I would rather stay on the bus to Sambaqui, where there is a nice little bar with shady tables under a big tree on the edge of the water.

This historic neighborhood is full of amazing stories and wonderful look. Full of culture and history of witches, must be visited by everyone.
