The restaurant is attractive, which is the only positive thing I can say. We had one of the worst meals we have had in years. We arrived around 9:30PM (not late by Brazilian standards) and were the only ones in the restaurant (throughout the entire meal); it was off season but all other restaurants were were in had other patrons- that should have told us something. As an earlier review had described that the bread was stale - ours was too - not toasted but stale. The melon of the melon and prosciutto was absolutely tasteless; we tasted it only ate a few bites. I had a two pasta selection - risotto and fungi which was good but cold. The linguini Bolognase was hot but so heavily salted that it was inedible. The other of us had salmon in a puff pastry which was mediocre and ravioli with shrimp that was not good - this person was sick an hour after the meal, with stomach cramps and vomiting (likely food poisoning). To top it off our waitress was sour and not very helpful (the other wait staff were nicer) In total it cost us about ~200R (~$100 USA) for bread, 1 appetizer and 2 entrees without wine or cocktails.
