It's a good hotel near by the international airport (around 15 min drive).
The room and bathroom have a good amount of space.
The breakfast buffet is well served.
The region that where the hotel is doesn't look very safe and friendly to walk around, I recommend to ask the receptionist where would be good to walk.
The employes are friendly and welcoming.

We stayed two nights. Since we arrived late on Thursday and had to leave on Saturday, we decided to choose an airport hotel. Nothing spectacular in the area but excellent airport access with free shuttle. Very friendly and competent staff. 24 hrs room service very much appreciated. Rooms are clean and totally acceptable. Breakfast in a spacious restaurant was pleasant and plentiful. Would recommend this to anyone on a GRU stopover.

Good choice for waiting for the next connection flight.
Although the rooms are small, the facilities are in general nice with complimentary regular shuttles to the international airport.
Very good breakfast that begins early in the morning.

I stayed in this hotel twice in a fortnight, in transit to and from Bolivia. It is 15 mins from Guarulhos Airport and provides an hourly free shuttle.
I booked a twin room both times and got 1 on 12th floor and 1 on 10th. Both were spacious, clean and comfortable.
The staff are very helpful and there is always 1 available who speaks English. My first visit was at 10a.m. and even being so early I was found a room by 1030.
The breakfast is included in the cost and is very good.
The airport shuttle worked perfectly for me but dont forget to book with reception beforehand.
All in all a good experience and I am happy to recommend the Monreal.

I stayed here overnight to ensure that I made an international flight at the nearby Guaralhos airport on time. The hotel runs a minibus shuttle service to the airport every twenty minutes or so - be careful, they can be cancelled at certain times, so check with reception.

I asked for a quite room, and was given one at the end of a corridor, which was fine. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel were adequate - self service from the food counter, which was replenished every so often. Beds are fine, but the bathroom was none too clean on my visit. I only discovered it in the morning, but worth a check when you book in.

From the balcony outside the dining room - where yo can get some welcome fresh air - you see that there are plenty of other hotels around. Why Monreale? Price and convenience - the shuttle service - were my reasons. It's probably a good sign that the Monreale is used by airline staff and small business owners: they confirm that it's fit for purpose and good value.

Room Tip: Do ask for a quiet room at booking or check-in, and don't hesitate to ask for a cleaner room should it be necessary - the staff were very obliging.
