I spent a little over a week in Piracicaba on a business trip. The Beira Rio is a well maintained hotel form the 60'ties (?!). Its biggest asset is the terrace with the Laguna-style pool and the outside bar. It has a small but well equipped gym. Breakfast features everything from fresh fruits to müsli to harty things. Downsides are the very noisy rooms towards the street that runs between the hotel and the river as well as noisy ACs. If I could change something it would be to put a smile on the staffs face.
