Visiting Sala São Paulo is a great musical experience in the city, the building is gorgeous and concerts are excellent, specially the orchestra. It is recommended though to go by cab and avoid to walk around the area, it can be dangerous (specially at night).

Sala de Sao Paulo is an pearl in the old city. An old trainstation well rebuild to a great concert hall.
Lots of orchestra's; the accoustic is great. When we visited it there were several places where you could buy you dinner; small or extended.
A place to revisit !

My favorite place in São Paulo. The building itself is beautiful and the acoustic of the concert room is great. They usually have free concerts at sunday mornings, and OSESP is amazing. DO NOT take the underground to get there at night and DO NOT go walking around on the surrounding area. Get a taxi instead.
