This is a very nice piece of architectural work. I am happy that I had the opportunity to attend a conference in it. The surrounding area with the park and the skateboarding site is also worth a stroll.

I attended a concert from Jan Akkerman, Holland's best guitarist and was impressed with the acoustics of the place. The hall itself is like any other good concert hall, but really great acoustics makes up for the quality.
Besides, the design of the whole building is unmistakably Oscar Niemeyer. Even without attending a concert, it is worth visiting while strolling through the park. I can highly recommend it.

It's a great venue and Ibirapuera's management chooses the events carefully. I've seen classic, rock, MPB and even metal there. Worth the visit!

I normally attend free classical music concerts - not so crowded as central park, and there is usually conversations and other distractions going on - nevertheless it brings classical music closer to the people of sao paulo

This recent addition to the Ibirapuera Park has been very welcome. Not only do they host some incredible bands and plays inside, but the back of the auditorium also opens up to a very large grassy area, making it the perfect place for outside events, like the BMW Jazz Festival, which happens annually. The design of the building is also quite beautiful, designed by none other than Oscar Niemeyer.
