My husband and I we stayed from 29/12/13 - 01/01/14 for the new year event, the staying and also the new year event was really nice but at the check out the receptionist Taina checked at the system and told us that we still need to to pay a daily rate , but we had payed in advance the event and also our hotel reservation, she even confirmed internally just asked us rudly and in an embarrassing way the payment proof.
Finally we forwarded the payment proof and also the email confirmation, it took around 30 min to check out! Completely destroyed the hotel reputation!

Dear Guest,

As we already had contacted you, this incidence really happened because of a problem we faced with our system. The Welcomer Tainá - or even any other Welcomer - could not visualize this pre-payment (…there was two separated payments – one for the room and another for the New Year event). In fact it was not specifically her fault, however, we certainly assume this misunderstand, absolutely not intentional. Please, we hope you did accept our sincerest apologizes.

We really appreciate the highlights you wrote to us concerning all the “Réveillon” party: the food, the music, and every single detail. We received a lot of nice notes from other guests and families.

We stayed for 1 day at this hotel, on New Year's Eve. It was a transit overnight stay. The check-in was smooth and courteous.
The room was a little bit on the small side, but the bed and pillows were comfortable. The amenities were good.
The room was clean.
Breakfast was good.
The only downside was that the reception failed to get us a taxi to the airport, and we had to manage on our own. The taxi they called took a long time to arrive and even though we asked the bellman to try and get us one, he said he couldn't do anything and told us to wait for the taxi the reception had called.

It is the 2nd. time that I am staying at the hotel and it is very good the room the hotel the gym and breakfast. I recommend it. It is one of the best breakfast I have had in a hotel. The room is aldo very confortable.

I recently stayed at the Pullman. I have stayed here before and had good experiences. It is a nice up-to-date hotel well located close to the city airport with good health club and pool access.

I am a silver a club member, and this time was surprised when I checked in mid afternoon and was told the only room available was handicapped accessible. I was told that this room was quite the same as other rooms in the hotel. Typically rooms are well appointed and comfortable. This room was not that comfortable, and while perfectly suited to mobility impaired guests was not great in terms of the bathroom set up or the overall comfort of the room.

For the rate I paid and my level of status with accord, I would've expected that they would've held a standard room for which I had paid.

Fortunately I was only staying one night, but this does make me question The rate to which this hotel values elite guests.

In fact our team commented and offered you one of our handicapped rooms only because you arrived before the regular check-in time, in a typical full booked hotel day. At that moment, it was the unique room we had available, and another possibility would wait for a later check-in. It was just a possibility in order to accommodate you; otherwise, a regular room would be ready to attend you from 03:00pm on, according with the regular check-in time policy. For the purpose of anticipate your arrival; we kindly tried to assist you the best way, also detailing this room nature, etc.

Please, accept our sincerest apologize for this misunderstood. It is never our intention to disappoint any of our clients!

We do hope to have the chance to welcome you back to Pullman in the future and to restore your faith in the hotel and us. Certainly guest satisfaction is our number one objective and there is nothing better than achieving it!

You can expect excellent service and a clean, comfortable, spacious room at the Pullman. Although located next to a busy highway, there is little traffic noise in the room. The hotel is across from a large park that affords a safe place to walk, bike, or run. The lobby bar and restaurant are excellent and the breakfast shouldn't be missed! WiFi service is sketchy.

Polluted air in the entire hotel, due to insufficient air renewal. Probably the main air extractor of this hotel is set to a very low level, for economical purposes. The CO2 ratio, showed with a CEM DT-802 Air Quality Monitor, is above 900 PPM, which is 2,5 times more than the outside CO2 ratio.
This is a big problem, especially for frequent guests that cannot easily change their hotels choice, as airline crew.

Dear Guest,

Reading your comment we observed that you affirm that here there is a “polluted air in the entire hotel”, and you also made deductions about that. It is important we clarify that your remark is not correct.

We do have a legal biannual Air Quality Monitoring Report, an audit with 9 pages of analyzes (according the ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025, by the number CRL 445) attesting we are positively in conformity. This technical analysis covers 18 different areas inside the hotel. In fact our average PPM is 554 and not “above 900” as you mentioned. Our Engineer & Maintenance Manager can certainly show you this document, if necessary.

Our guests are our primary concern and we look forward to hearing from you and redeeming your faith in our hotel. Anyway, thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and also give us the opportunity to clear it up for you and other travellers.
