Adagio Sao Paulo Berrini
Ranked #135 of 326 Hotels in Sao Paulo

Stayed 3 nights, 3 adults, for the F1 race at Interlagos. I was surprised by the size of the apartment. There were 2 bedrooms with double beds, and 2 bathrooms. The second bathroom a little small, but I've seen worse in others hotels.

No problem with the WiFi. Staff was great (speaks English & Spanish), Taxis very near, some restaurants in the vicinity.

The restaurants of the hotel: nice dinners, breakfast could be a little better but it was enough.

Above all? The price!

Totally recommended.

Now, beware... its NOT near downtown Sao Paulo, so if I need to be there, I wouldn't stay here.

I stayed in this hotel during some weeks because of the location, very close an important business area in São Paulo.
The rooms are very confortable but without any kind of luxury, unless some amenities in the bathroom. It's in fact an apart hotel, which includes kitchen inside the rooms.

The staff are very nice and always ready to answer our requests.

The breakfast was very good, with good variety of fruits, eggs, juices, breads, etc.

The free internet was great, I had perfect video conversations using the free internet. During the beginning of the night, it becames slow, but nothing that could disturb.

Stayed here several times because of the location, but since it is a appartment hotel not really suitable for short stays. Appartments are big enough but no heating ( can be cold in SP) and no Tv on the room only in the living room.its basic and therefore the pricing is too high ( $200) per night.Think next time another hotel in Paulista area

Room Tip: For long stays ok

The hotel facilities are, in general, very good. Except that from your bedroom you can hear everything outside - and Sao Paulo is far from quiet. If you're going to stay here, pack some ear plugs or you're going to have trouble sleeping. Location is good if you're on a business trip. There is free wifi, but the connection is SO slow that it will definitely anger you. Breakfast is OK, there is very little variety but what's there is good. Although if I had to pay extra myself for breakfast, I probably wouldn't, because it's definitely not worth it.

It's an apart hotel without any charm. This you already feel, when you enter to the lobby. It is very noisy, even on the 24th floor. The only positive thing is that it is next to where I work.

I stayed here for 7 nights in Oct/Nov 2011. The building is older but pretty well maintained. Rooms are set up as apartments with stove, microwave, fridge, dishes, etc and even a small utility room with a clothesline off the kitchen. I would have liked there to be paper towels in the kitchen and, although there was a coffee pot, there was no coffee or filters. The front desk staff was excellent - fluent in English, courteous, and helpful. The only drawback that I found was that the location was inconvenient for certain things that I was looking for - no supermarket within miles and no Starbucks nearby (closest is at Morumbi Shopping ~1.5 miles). There are enough lanchonettes nearby to get snacks and drinks though and a well stocked Esso convenience store 6 blocks away.

The hotel has an exercise room but I prefer to run outside and the nearest parks are Parque do Povo at 1.5 miles and Ibirapuera at over 3 miles.

Overall I feel the Mercure is a good value especially for long term stays but be prepared to leave the neighborhood for essentials.
