“Ok for the location”
Reviewed 20 September 2013

The best is without no doubt the location, 10 minutes by taxi to Paulista, Oscar Freire, villa Madalena. Hotel is in Jardins neighborood, one of the safest of SP.
The hotel himself, as already refered in earlier reviews, is in need of a serious renovation lifting, lifts often goes out if order, bathrooms are very sad and old with very poor ammenities, furniture old and tired, a good point however are the balconies (one per room), as everything in SP the hotel is ridiculously overpriced, bkfst is good (special mention to fresh juices).
No lobby just tables and chairs for bar and restaurant.
Extremely deficient Wifi (during 2 days no wifi in my room).
As i have to return soon, will see if improvements have been done and to try the swimming pool. But definitely not convinced for my first stay.

Room Tip: All rooms 07 and 08 are quiet no street view but pool view.

This hotel is located in the Jardins area of São Paulo. It is about 30. Minutes from the city airport of Congonhas and about 30 minutes from the convention centre of Anhembi. Lobby has a nice bar and huge screen tv, also a restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast is included and very nice - everything from fresh fruit, bread ham cheeses , eggs, cereal, yogurt. And Brazils's famous cheese bread (PAo de queijo). My room was on the 9th floor - it was a good size with queen bed, desk, table chair, tv. Ac. Also had in room safe and ample closet for clothes. Bathroom was nicely appointed and great water pressure in shower. The room was clean and comfortable. It is not a luxury hotel but it was absolutely fine and I would not hesitate to recommend to any traveller to São Paulo.

I stayed just one night during a three day visit in Sao Paulo. Hotel staff is very polite and welcoming, the location is safe and pretty good in Jardin Sao Paulo district, near Av. Paulista and just few blocks from Oscar Freire. The hotel tends to be a four stars property, which I must say bearly achieves. Rooms are spacious, not so tired, kind of updated or well appointed, good bathroom with the right water presure and temperture, I had a room with balcony with some views over Alameda Lorena St, on a higher floor, so it was calm during the night. Comfort is one of the best qualities of the entire hotel. Breakfast is good, with a decent array of choices but nothing spectacular. I definitely recommend this hotel mostly for its price, location and good comfort, in terms of brazilian standards.

Room Tip: Rooms over the 10th floor might be quieter.

The hotel is well-located, the area is safe to walk around at night, and the rooms basically have everything you need. It is however quite 'Spartan', beds could be more comfortable, internet doesn't work very well, bathrooms are old. There is not really anything to say against the hotel, but it does not have a wow-factor, nor does it correspond to the level of hotel it projects to be. The 15th floor seems to have been completely renovated, and I think some of the hotels pictures must have been taken there. I would choose a room on the upper floors (not because of the views as I had a view to the concrete wall of the building next door) due to the noise of the traffic of close-by streets. There is a good 24h bistro on the corner next to the hotel with surprising quality food.

This hotel is ok to stay on business if you only use it to sleep, but lacks some commodities to work, a nice bar to meet either to relax or for meetings. On a personal trip, I would probably choose another type of hotel, more comfortable and relaxing.

Room Tip: Higher floor reduce the street noise, rooms on right hand side of the building (point of view as you...

I've stayed at the Golden Tulip Park Plaza a couple of times and I think it's worth the money. it's not very expensive, for São Paulo standards, has a great location (Alameda Lorena is parallel to Paulista Av.), and is close to several restaurants.
The hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good.
The staff is not very warm but they are polite.

Room Tip: Pick a room in the upper floors and I can assure you will sleep better. São Paulo is a busy town and...

Breakfast Service was also fully ok, with good Choices of hot Beverages. Staff did give us also good Recommendation for some Restaurants nearby.
