My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights last year. We had been travelling overland in Brazil so thought we would treat ourselves to a little luxury and we weren't disappointed!
The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable and the location is great, but I have to say it is the staff that really made a difference for us. Every member of staff we saw greeted us with a smile and all the staff were warm, friendly and helpful for our entire stay. From the moment we walked through the door to check in we were well looked after. The young man who checked us in offered us a drink (glass of bubbly!) and gave us lots of local information and advice about Sao Paolo. We consulted him a few times during our stay and he was always very knowledgeable and helpful, he gave us loads of great trips.
On our first evening exhausted after a long journey we dumped all our stuff in the room and popped out for a brief walk, not expecting maid service as it was evening. We can't have been gone more than ten minutes but when we came back there was a little note pushed under the door to say that apparently the cleaner had popped in the turn the beds down and noticed we had left our camera and some money out so she immediately called security to have it locked up in the safe. We were very impressed with the honesty, care and not to mention the efficiency of this.
Also when checking out we needed to get a taxi to the bus station to catch our onward connection- the hotel had someone go out to hail a taxi for us but unfortunately all the taxis that went past were occupied and as we were running short on time the hotel arranged for their one of their private drivers to take us in a town car. Very professional and helpful service.
Centrally located just off Avenida Paulista close to lots of shops and restaurants. The décor of the whole hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are comfort itself. Huge soft comfy bed, robes, havaiana sandals and two little hand made cakes on arrival. We never saw a member of the housekeeping team our entire stay but our room was always kept spotless.
The pool is lovely and warm, if a little shallow and the leisure facilities are excellent.
We would definitely recommend and would certainly stay here again.
