the hotel itself has a great landscape, but it could improve in: price (wifi not inlcuded with such a high cost), the service in the 23 restaurant, the quality of the elevators (too much noise), the lights in the bedrooms (its a puzzle).

the food is great everywhere in the hotel: tapas on the 23th floor, sushi in the lounge, live music all week long.

To spend 1 week in Sao Paolo on business is not easy. Yet the hotel Tivoli made it easy for us. Room was enormous, so was the bathroom. You could almost organize a party in the shower! Neighbourhood is safe, even for an evening walk. The hotel pool was pretty small, but the pool area provided sufficient privacy. The price is higher, well you know what you pay for. Although food could be more "inventive". Breakfast buffet has not changed for the entire week.

Room Tip: I stayed at the higher floor, which was very quiet.

I've stayed in a few different locations in Sao Paulo, but I found this to be a very nice and safe spot. Staff is great and the hotel has a nice charm about it. Remember this is Brasil and not Dubai. Sao Paulo is 20 million people with no infra structure or highways it's a 14 mile 3 hour trip to the airport in the evening. Restaurants are great in Sao Paulo and there are a lot of fun night life places too. People are very friendly in Brasil but it is a dangerous place if you're not aware.
I enjoyed my stays at this hotel very much.

Me and my colleague stayed for 5 nights there during a business trip. Everything is clean and at the pool you will find silence from a loud city.
Breakfast was ok, nothing special.
From the bar you have a great view over the city, especially in the evening.
At all, everything is extremely expensive, not only in the hotel...everywhere

I stayed at this hotel in April 2013 paying US$350 a day. The walls of the room were paper thin and I could hear everything the (loud) guy next door was saying at 3am, 4am, etc. The room was close to the elevators... they were fast, but in the room it felt like an airpolane going above your head every 10 seconds. The floor of the room also vibrated because of this.
Awesome breakfast with loads of choices.
Want Internet? = you have to pay
Want to access the gym? = you have to pay
Not very upbeat people at the reception.
Very executive treatment from the staff (waitress, cleaning staff, etc).

Room Tip: Be aware there are rooms connected to other rooms by internal doors. Avoid them if you want a good n...

The hotel in very well located, close to restaurant and shops. The doorman are very professional and helpful, everyday when i was leaving and coming back they would make a point of speaking to me. There one in particular he had a long coat and wore glasses that was always genuinely pleasant. The rooms are pretty spacious and the bed is very comfortable, like some one else comments had problem with the toilet flashing, while i was there there was a problem with the lifts. My only comment is that the rooms may need some touch up, there were marks on the furniture probably due to suitcases been scratching.

The bar is very nice and has access to the terrace where there is a swimming pool, fitness facilities are available but there is a charge like for the internet.

I had breakfast and the choice is pretty good, there is a chef that is available to make fresh omelet, all the rest is buffet service.

The lady that checked me in was very professional and friendly, i believe she was called Hilde.

Overall a pretty hotel

Enjoyed my stay at Tivoli. For a large hotel the concierge offered boutique hotel style service. In particular Marcelo was excellent. He really offered us suggestions targeted to our taste, style and age. The main entrance of the hotel is very modern, the rooms could use an upgrade though, a bit worn - but definitely still nice. The breakfast was amazing and included - though we didn't buy the breakfast included rate!

Would definitely return.
