Nice hotel, clean rooms, small pool and fitness area. The breakfast area is a bit small for the number of guest, which means that you want to eat breakfast early on the weekends, as the locals all eat just before the restaurant closes. On week days this is not a problem as the Blue Tree is a business hotel, where people eat early, if at all. There was some traffic noise in our room on the 5 floor facing the bigger of the roads, but not more that you would expect in any big city. They charge for internet access (10-20 BRL/day depending on plan), which is fairly slow and only allow one device to be connected, but that seemed to be the standard in Sao Paulo, no free WiFi anywhere (coffe shops etc), in contrast to Rio where free WiFi is everywhere.
Front desk try to be helpful, but speak very little English. The location is excellent and the area seems safe. Great value in the Av. Paulista area.
