The hotel staff were friendly and very welcoming. The rate has increased at the hotel. The bathroom was not well cleaned and the room had a musty odor. Check and check out was very efficient. This hotel is normally very clean and comfortable to be at.

if you are staying in Sao Paulo for business, it's very well locate, good service, not so expensive but also not so cheap. good bedrooms even if you choose the cheapest one. This hotel it has a good parking garage if you are going by car to Sao Paulo. Very close to Faria Lima, and not so far from Av. Paulista, the area is well know to have the top restaurants of Sao Paulo no more then 2 miles radius.

We went ther for the inauguration of the world cup and, as expected, the place was packed. There had been a mistake with our reservation, which was nobody's fault; but the receptionist in charge was "not friendly" and seemed tired and not willing to help. We asked her coworker for the wifi password so we could solve the issue, and he refused. We asked for the manager, and though a bit more helpful, we still took more than an hour to check in.
After this, i can say that the hotel is well located, breakfast was included and varied. Rooms ok but very little closet space. Bathrooms VERY small

The Melia Europa is located in Itaim Bibi popular for it's fine restuarants and meeting clubs. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and accommodating. This is the good points. The hotel is old and at one point was reasonably priced. They also gave a fine breakfast included in the price.. This has all gone south, no breakfast and this hotel was price close to the Renaissance and Tivioli hotels which are 5 star hotels. The American cost factor for Breakfast was 21.00 and not worth it.

The room is clean and spacious, but the bathroom is extremely small. You can't get into the shower and can't shave unless you close the door. There is no room for amenities, and two people cannot be in the bathroom at one time. If this hotel was priced at 150-175 with breakfast it would be worth it, but not at there price. But in it's Sao Paulo and inflation is wide spread.

Room Tip: all rooms are the same.

Location is great, but bathrooms are small and the free wi-fi is worse than dial-up. You have to pay to get a half-decent internet connection. I felt cheated as a customer, especially now that hotels provide a good quality free wifi pretty much wherever you go.

I am writing from room 508 at the hotel where I am spending a couple of nights on business. Usually, I stay at Grand Hyatt or Unique, but this hotel is well located (I can walk to work in 10 minutes) and half the price. Great room, really big, but tiny bathroom. I have a porthole in the shower looking at the street which is nice though. Free internet, breakfast included (huge buffet, but no service, I had to get my own coffee and no one cleared my table, they ran with the check though), rooftop gym and pool. What I like best and will keep in mind is that if I was stuck in Sao Paulo for a weekend, this is where I owuld want to stay - right in this neighborhood which is fun for walking and going out.

Great hotel, even better price, superb location, what else can I ask for.

Room Tip: I was lucky and got a corner room with porthole in the shower.
