Really nice hotel. We stayed here in June 2013.
Very friendly staff: Silvia, who checked us in, was very helpful. She even tried to help us when we met her in the corner store the next day and were having difficulty.
She signed us up for the frequent stay program and even ordered a pizza for us when we weren't sure what to order.
Great location, a few blocks from Ave Paulista and close to shopping and restaurants. We felt very safe here even walking after dark.
Hotel room was very clean, larger room with very comfortable bed, soaps and shampoos provided. Breakfast was not provided but there is a Starbucks a block away.
Free Wifi in our room.
Would definitely stay here again.

Unbeatable locatios but hotel need personal improvements: concierge doesn't know important things about the city as location, what's going on etc...
Breakfast expensive but they didn't put back on what's missing.
If you want to wake up late forget it, they start knocking the door at 9am offering water, house keeping etc..

Everything was good, except the valet service. More than half hour waiting for my car ! In a rainy
sunday morning !
The room, the bathroom, the service, the breakfast, the location were very good. The hotel is close of many restaurants, shops and the paulista Ave., heart of São Paulo ( and perharps, Brazil).

Room Tip: High floor rooms are quieter

If you're looking for a nice, solid Business Hotel without the frills of a luxury business chain (and also without the horrendous price of the big luxury chains!) check out this hotel.
Large, very practical rooms (big desk to work from, nice easy chair next to the bed, large TV, very large and nice bathroom, and enough floor space to do pilates!) and lovely, helpful staff. Breakfast wasn't really worth the Price, but lots of nice little places within close (and safe!) walking distance.

The location is great! There's a minimart just diagonally across the hotel, and it's a few blocks' walk from Paulista Ave. It's also very near the shopping streets like Rua Oscar Freire and there are lots of nice restaturants around the hotel. The Jardins area is where the rich live and shop, it's pretty safe to walk around.

The hotel itself is nice enough. It's more of a business hotel, so no complaints really. Love the free wifi!

Room Tip: Avoid the corner rooms, we stayed in 2 types of rooms and the corner rooms have a wierd configuratio...

I cannot really complain on anything for this hotel. The breakfast, the service, the room, and so on was very good. Perhaps the furniture in the rooms was a bit old, but it is not at all a major issue. However, there are better Mercure options nearby (Mercure Sao Paulo Alamedas) with balconies and rooftop pools. If you do not mind a bit simpler and more relaxed setting, I would go for that (cheaper) alternative instead.

I stayed at this Hotel one night since my usual hotels in itaim were too expensive.
I've found the price fair and the amenities good (even a small indoor pool).
They have free wi-fi and the level of service (medium) one expects for a Mercure.
I must say I liked the area with good restaurants around and a good central location if you want to work in São Paulo.
