Inside the megalopolis of Sao Paulo exists a remaing area of the atlantic forest (mata atlantica) with wild life. The botanical gardens are situated inside this area. During my visit, I was able to see two type of monkeys Seguis and Bugios (dont forget binocolars!). Other wildlife also exists, even sloths! There is a trail going into the forest, which is nice. The whole park is very nice, especialy with children. The man made gardens themselves are not that special compared to other important botanical gardens, such as Rio's for example, but the nature and wildlife makes this place a great attraction in Sao Paulo and a chance to run away from the noise and pollution of the city
