Sao Paulo is the economic hub of Rio and so this area has a large number of hotels catering towards business people. It is about a 20 minute walk from Iguatemi Sao Paulo shopping centre. If your in Sao Paulo for business do a google maps search and see if the hotel is close enough to your office as Sao Paulo has a number of hotels. Its in a wealthy part of Sao Paulo and its quite safe to walk the streets in the evenings. There are numerous bars and restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance of the hotel.
As far as I know all suites have a kitchen, stove, microwave, fridge, separate living room, tub and shower. The rooms are clean, spacious and appear to have been recently renovated. Their is a pool and gym in the hotel. Staff are friendly and courteous.
The one thing that the rooms don't seem to have is an iron and ironing board, which is ironic since most of their guests are business people. Either bring one or request one before you go.
The hotel does offer a free continental breakfast and the restaurant is half decent for the nights you don't want to leave the hotel.More
