This hotel and restaurant has been constructed around the remains of an original windmill as the image included shows. The outlook from the dining area overlooks the causeway leading to the fantastic UNESCO Heritage site of Nessebar.
We went there on our last night as a get away from Sunny Beach and have a 'special meal'. We were not disappointed in any way. The internal dining room and outside dining area are immaculate. We were served by a most helpful and friendly waiter who guided us on the wine and the food very well. Also, he explained what was going on the road outside and the approach to Nessebar - a Children's Day. Children from Russia, Hungary, Poland, France, Bulgaria have their day and parade in traditional costume signing their own songs - fantastic!
The food in the Old Mill is excellent and together with very good Bulgarian wine chosen on the good advice of the waiter,is priced very reasonably considering the standard. It would be easy to more than double the cost of such a meal in Britain.
With the greatest of respect to other establishments we enjoyed, we wish we had found this one earlier to go just more than once. Having experienced an enormous 'change' in Sunny Beach, if ever we go back to that area we will look seriously at this hotel/restaurant.
