Running your business by intimidating customers in this way and trying to get a tip as huge as possible is not the way to do it. I sincerily hope people will read this. Discousting!

“You want a tip? Don't ever go here!”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

I with three very hungover lads attended this restaurant not expecting excellence just something to help with a hangover. The full English breakfast reminded me of something a mother would buy her toddler from Toys R Us to play with. Plastic looking bacon with about as much crisp as an elastic band and a an oblong shaped meat product that would strike fear among butchers if one was to call it a sausage. Sympathy has to go out for the pig in question, surely it didn't deserve to die for this? One of my friends who was feeling less peckish opted for the beans on toast, what could possibly go wrong? Well it was served with cucumber, a combination only for the brave and an excellent way to ruin a meal that is just fine the way it is. And of course just having awful food would not be enough. The waiter just kept the 8 lev change after carrying out scientific analysis on our 50 lev note to ensure authenticity, then accusing us of giving him a fake. The only positive was that we did not have dessert so we did not have to stay there any longer. Coming to Bulgaria I did expect to see mafia or police with machine guns but in fact the most dangerous thing I saw was the food at Beluga.

“Good food, rude, abrupt and intimidating service”
Reviewed 11 October 2013 via mobile

We visited this restaurant on our way to Bourgas airport as a final meal before flying. It was mid day, and quiet. There was a man standing by the door getting and greeting customers and also taking orders.
One other couple was inside having a drink.
The food and service was very good. We even discussed how good the service was compared with everywhere else we've been on previous restaurant visits.
When it came to payment, I put in over 5% as a tip, less than what we'd normally put in, but as we were heading home, we didn't have any spare change. The waiter, who is the same gentleman that stands at the door, became quite abrupt, demanding that I pay him more money as a tip and after a few exchanges, he rudely walked off. This was quite a shock to us and on many visits to Bulgaria we've never experienced this sort of behaviour.
Needless to say, we will not recommend anyone visiting this place.
