“Thieves and pick pockets”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2014

Nessebar was beautiful, but please be ultra aware of thieves and pick pockets. I was very nearly robbed within minutes of arriving. You need to be vigilant.

“Chill out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

We have just come home after 2 weeks and feel really chilled out . We went BB which is all you really need as the price of food and drink are really cheap . People are friendly and welcoming . Once you get used to the people who are trying to get you to eat at their place it's fine . After you said no thank you a few times they just tended to say hello and have a little chat with you .its a nice relaxing place to stay and plenty of things to see . We went into sunny beach a few times . The bus which is the number 1 and runs from nesseber to sunny beach about every 10-15 mins can get really full but at that price you don't mind because it takes around 10 mins . If you like looking at a country's past then this is the place to go . It is full of old cobbled streets and old houses there are a couple of shall beaches which are in little coves so there isn't much of a breeze , so are a sun trap . There are plenty of places to eat and your meal is cooked fresh so you my have a little wait but to me that's a good thing . All in all a very good holiday . Only thing I would say is if you are a smoker then bewere of bogas airport . If you go into the smokers airer then you carnt sit down unless you buy a drink or food which is very expensive . In the resort you can get a big beer for 1.50 lv but in the airport the same will cost you 9 lv . But all in all it's a lovely place to stay

“Good but only worth 1 visit”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

Shops and restaurants were nice but only worth one visit, the area can get very busy at times. The boat taxi from nessebar to sunny beach is relatively expensive

“Mix of ancient, great restaurants, friendly, gifty shops, sea, sun, quiet at night”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

We have been to Nessebar the old town, i.e. stara grad, which is on a peninsula, the place has its own magic of ancient and holy and great restaurants with class and not silly prices, good hotels, and lots and lots of gifty type shops. All in all lovely.
