Stayed three nights and found it most pleasant and relaxing. Bungalow cabins or huts setting out over the water are very roomy but a little dark at night due to limited interior lighting. Shower in bathroom fixture works well but floor will be slick when wet so don't fail to use flip flops provided (water pressure adequate and very hot water most times). Wifi works okay and small frig+tea / coffee pot to brew your own. Beds comfortable enough and a very nice veranda or porch area with small table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the cool evening breeze for rooms in row 1, 3 and 4. Second row only has front door, no rear exit onto a separate veranda as the others have. Dinning room has basic menu in somewhat high prices but really no more than one would find at a restaurant in the west. Breakfast buffet comes with most rooms and is ample if not original in its fare. No where else to find a restaurant unless you take the long boats back to the mainland in another 40-min. one-way trip. Service very good and prompt with shan band musical greetings on arrival, moist towel to wipe up and orange juice drink to greet you on landing. Nice sunset views and happy hour drinks beginning at 5-7 pm. No A/C or fans but open windows / doors have a nice night time breeze and little evidence of any mosquitoes. Safe isolated resort with access only by long boats but a monastery nearby can awaken you at night with chants and prayers starting as early as 3 am.
