We got there at the very end of our stay in Burma and we were nicely surprised, as we did not expected it to be such a charming place. The forest of stupas made great impression, some of them still has some original carvings and frescoes left. We got there on market day, but after market was finished. so it was quiet and most of souvenir vendors were gone as well. Happy we've seen it before they rebuild it all in a bit of a kitschy style.
