Everything about this hotel was terrific. The food was wonderful. Actually I have NEVER had a nicer breakfast ANYWHERE. Fresh juice of a different variety each morning, homemade yogurt, breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, coffee little popovers with a fabulous view and beautiful music. The staff was friendly and kind and the rooms were charming. No detail is overlooked. We highly recommend them. I would go back in a minute!

This is a really nice hotel with a lovely restaurant and beautiful bungalows over the water. The concierge is very helpful so we organized two outings in boats to Inle Lake through them. They also made arrangements for us to do a one day hike into the surroundings hills with a young woman called "Phyu Phyu". All of these were very successful outings. The concierge also helped us get a bus ticket to our next destination. We had decided to stay in the town versus on the lake so that we could enjoy the night life but there wasn't much night life in Nyaungshwe. You have to take a flashlight with you at night because there are not many street lights and the sidewalks have holes in them. It might have been better to stay on the lake but we don't know since we didn't do this.

A great place to stay , cottages over the water with a great view from the rear balcony. The beds are comfy, room servicing superb. You could almost be excused for spending a considerable part of the day just watching the daily activities, and the view from the restaurant overlooking the main canal and its busy activities are excellent. The huge breakfasts served on a plate like an ironing board are fantastic..
The staff are very friendly and make a stay here so envoyable.
So glad we stayed here.

Stayed four nights and had a wonderful time. Great location right on the canal that leads to the lake. Rooms are over a small "mini" lake so you get that "over water" feel but also have easy access to the town. We arrived on the overnight bus very early and the manager and staff were exceptionally kind in allowing us into our room at 8am. He also gave us an upgraded room as we were staying quite a few nights - a really welcome and generous touch during low season. Breakfast was huge, delicious and beautifully presented, on a long wooden board. Couldn't fault the place! The staff were delightful too. I'd highly recommend a stay here - perfect.

Lying in bed with the curtains open was like watching a nature documentary! Our cabin was right at the end over a small canal along a lovely long wooden walkway. Our view was back to the mountains and across the paddy fields, not too shabby. Spot on comfortable HUGE bed and pillows.

Great rooms, the mini bar was interesting! Very clever.

Bathrooms excellent, great soaps, thanaka and other fiddly bits!

Breakfast HUGE, yes, HUGE! Served on a long tray with everything you could possibly want.

Good location right at the end of the town near where the boats depart, great views at any time of the day watching the river life.

Staff were the best on our two week stay in Mynamar, very chatty, friendly, smiling, helpful and fun!

My only gripe was that the aircon was useless! But it does not get very hot here.

The back porch overlooking the paddie fields, lake, and mountains was unbeatable. The staff who work here make you feel very comfortable. Turn down service, great room service, a great barman, etc. All of this for 75 dollars in low season. They have an eco mini-bar which is quite amusing. I was thoroughly satisfied with my stay.

I'm not normally a review writer to be honest, but we've just had such a brilliant stay here that I wanted to post that!
This is a great place to stay - the cottages over the water are beautiful and the restaurant excellent - amazing (huge!!) breakfasts with views over the rice paddies - what a way to start the day.
But the staff are who really make a stay here special. Really friendly and helpful. They made great recommendations for memorable day trips out and made all the necessary arrangements for us.
I really, really recommend you to stay here.
We will be back, I hope.
Thank you to everyone here for making our stay so enjoyable.
