We really enjoyed our stay here - stayed for 3 nights.
The tuk-tuk driver was there to pick us up from the bus terminal (even though we arrived 1.5hrs later than we had said that we would) and we had sparkling red wine and cold towels on arrival at the hotel.
The accommodation is very new and we really liked our villa. There are a lot of animals around - large geckos, frogs, butterflies. We are not sure which animals they were - maybe frogs, but some were quite noisy at night. I liked this, but my boyfriend found it a little difficult to sleep.
The pool is unusual - eco style with plants cleaning it - so it looks more like a lake than a pool with tadpoles swimming in it. We really enjoyed it. There was also an area adjacent to the restaurant for playing boulle.
The day trips recommended to us were well considered - we loved the cooking class we went to - "Nary's Kitchen."
This place has a very French feel to it with many French dining options on the menu.
We felt very welcome and had a lovely time.More
