Lovely Angkorian ruins next to a current-day wat and enormous Buddha statue. The ruins of Wat Ek Phnom cost a couple of dollars for foreigners and in the wet season the site is a bit muddy. Looks out onto a lovely lily pond. There's no information about the site once you're there.
If you're on a moto, use Wat Ek Phnom as your destination and then keep on driving to explore nearby fishing communities and rice fields.
