We like this hotel because it looks different and very inviting from the main road on the sea front. Although mainly families staying here the rooms are large all with sea views. The town isn't that interesting other than the beach lots of nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

We got to La Serena at 5pm one evening on our trip and had no reservations yet, but in April the entire strip of hotels along the ocean were nearly completely empty so getting a room was not a problem. We walked in and negotiated a decrease in the rate for the evening.

The hotel was nothing special at all, but it was close to the beach so we could take a long walk along the beach as the sun was setting.

There weren't many places that looked enticing for dinner, but we managed to find an HiperLider grocery store five minutes away by car. Aside from just being a really interesting cultural experience to see this grocery store, it was a good way to stock up on fruit and food to snack on. While not exactly a gourmet meal, it was fine to sit on our balcony, drink pisco, eat oranges, and enjoy the nice evening.

It was kind of strange that there were so few people in this area just one month after high season. Honestly, this hotel is absolutely nothing special but it's fine for a place to sleep at night.

I stayed for a week with family and child. We were really unlucky that a massive school sporting event was taking place at the same time and most of the hotel was full of teenagers during our stay. Most of them were misbehaved at night and carried on until the small hours of the morning. Unfortunately the staff did not know how to deal with them. We ended up moving from the hotel to a hut mid way our stay. This was better in terms of the noise. The pool was clean and heated. The complex was clean and looked after. The food was poor and the restaurant isn't actually part of the hotel. It s seperate but will offer food to hotel guest. The food is slow to come, not very tasty and over priced. The wifi connection did not work for most of our stay and messages from friends were not relayed to use. Althought the complex is nice, it needs a lot of work in terms of the management except for the main manager trying to help most of the staff could not have cared less.

Room Tip: Ver opciones alrededor, precio / calidad. Es muy costoso para lo que ofrecen. Desayuno malo e instalaciones necesitan mantenimiento.
