I stayed in November. In three months of travelling around South America and South East Asia this was certainly the worst hotel/hostel. I had a single room which was fine but the window had no curtain or blind, it was next to a really noisy restaurant. The WiFi didn't work. Breakfast didn't start on time and on my last day there was none at all. The manager wasn't there when I was checking out so I gave my money to another guest, I was actually on the street when I saw him and said I'd left money with another guest, he wasn't bothered and as it turned out he had no idea what I owed anyway. I recall three other guests complaining about the service and facilities during my stay. Its location is great but its not worth it! It was expensive compared to other hotels in the area. I couldn't recommend it.

It is a very bad hotel, with 1 m2 bathrooms, very small rooms, intermitent hot water when available, very noisy during the night as it has an excellent but noisy neighbour restaurant. Extremely thin walls between rooms, as to loose any privacy, extremely overpriced for what it offers. I spent three nights there on the 3rd week of November 2013. The owner or responsable of the hotel informs that it is noisy only up to 9 PM. He knows it is not truth, noise continues up to 2 AM! Do not believe him!

Room Tip: In any circumstance avoid front rooms. Incredibly noise and with very thin walls!

After 5weeks travelling in Chile and Argentina I can say without reservation that this is the worst hotel we have experienced.
1.When we arrived we were allocated a room next to the Main Street of San Pedro .My head was actually 30c.m from the pedestrian foot path and the walls were paper thin ,so you could hear everything from the road on one side ,the restaurant on the other side and the room next door (which happened to be occupied by a crying baby and his noisy parents).
We averaged 4 to 5 hours sleep a night for 3 nights .
2. We booked a room with a private bath room which had no hot water .When I pointed this out to the manager nothing was done about it for the entire stay .Eventually we had to shower in the shared bath room.
3.The Hotel offers a laundry service ,so gave the maid our washing.Only half of our clothes were returned .When I asked for the rest I was told to nobody knew where they were .Eventually I had to search the laundry myself and recover the missing jeans ,undies etc from under piles of dirty sheets .
4.The hotel advertised break fast at 8A.M which is in fact at the same time as all the tours leave for the desert etc so if your going on a tour no breakie. On the first day we sat at the breakfast table until 8.30 I then had to go outside and get the maid who was playing with the dogs.Without washing her hands she asked me to choose a menu ,but only half arrived when I asked for the rest juice ,milk etc I was told not available maybe mañana . The next two days I made my own breakfast with the other guests from ingredients I purchased.
5. On the last day nobody was in attendance in the morning and the place was in turmoil as other guests wanted pay and check out .Some had to give me their money to pass on to the manager when he finally turned up.
This experience cost me $345 U.S .This so called Hotel is an absolute rip off .The people who run it are just interested in the dollars and provide no service in return .Stay away.

Room Tip: All rooms are very noisy as they are either close to the road or the restaurant and all have paper t...
