Charming hotel with very friendly staff and owners. It kind of looks like a museum with all sort of antiques. It has a small pool in the backyard where you can enjoy a cool drink or snack. I also really liked that they had fresh fruit everywhere and a good breakfast.

Room Tip: I would recommend a room upstairs.

On arrival we were welcomed by the owners and showed a fantastic room with a lovely bed and big bathroom with view to the pool area. The hotel was like a gigantic museum or antiques shop and really lovely. The pool was small, but big enough for swimming with clean water. We enjoy a good breakfast and were not disappointed. We only stayed for 2 days, but could easily stay for a week.

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely hotel, while we toured the local area. Rooms are all individual furnished entirely with antiques. The bathroom was HUGE! We didn't make use of the claw foot bath, as there wasn't a plug, but I'm sure we could have asked for one.
The staff were very helpful and keen to share what information they could. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas, and we even walked to restaurants that were twice that distance.
A good Chilean started each day with a plate of fruit and freshly made juice, there are hard boiled eggs on the table, but if you ask, you can have huevos revueltos. Eat outside by the pool if it's a nice morning. Coffee was great!

Room Tip: We had Room 3, Merlot, and it was just off the lobby with no windows. Next time we would ask for a room on the first floor, with natural light, and to feel more private.

This hotel is charming and very well run. Food and customer service are also generous. I recommend it to those wanting a nice reasonable place to stay while visiting Colchagua Valley. The location is also ideal as it is a few blocks from casino and within 20-30 minutes of many fine vineyards. I will repeat the visit!

My husband and I have traveled extensively and from time to time we've experienced a property that will never leave us. Hotel Vendimia is such a place. From the moment we arrived we knew this hotel was special. Nadia at the front desk speaks wonderful English and took care of our every need. We stayed in the Cabernet room and would choose it again. The breakfast was presented with interesting items, including great espresso. They have an "honor bar" offering excellent wines from the region....you pay for the bottle you select but it is most reasonable. The back patio with pool and comfortable lounge chairs is the place to relax. The hotel's location is perfect..restaurant walkable, museum around the corner, jogging or powerwalking right out the front entrance. Mauricio and Carla his wife make this a perfect destination in the Santa Cruz wine district.
